Shane punjab Peach(PAU selection)

Variety: Shan-e-Punjab (PAU Selection)

Agronomic Profile: Shan-e-Punjab is the commercial standard for peach cultivation in North Indian plains. It is a vigorous, low-chill cultivar that offers an excellent balance of yield and fruit quality.

• Chilling Requirement: Low (Ideal for Plains).
• Maturity: Early Season (1st Week of May).
• Fruit Characteristics: Large size with yellow skin and red blush. Flesh is yellow, firm, and Free-Stone.
• TSS (Sweetness): Approx. 12% with good acid blend.
• Yield: High potential (approx. 70kg/tree).
• Marketability: Excellent firmness ensures good shelf life and transportability to distant mandis.

Why Choose Shan-e-Punjab? Its early maturity allows farmers to capture the "early bird" market rates in May, ensuring maximum profitability before the monsoon glut arrives.
